This website was created by Lindal & Marton Parish Council in collaboration with St Peter's Church. Project funding was provided by Westmorland and Furness Council.

​The website features reminiscences and articles by local historians: Roy Mason, Doris Edge, and James Melville.​ We're planning a new website feature on the excellent mining model that you can already see in St Peter's Church.

The project funding covers work to refurbish and enhance the church display with the addition of photographs, interpretation panels, and other local historical artefacts.
