This project is being delivered during 2024 by Lindal & Marton Parish Council in collaboration with St Peter's Church. Project funding has been provided by Westmorland and Furness Council.

We've started off by assembling a few reminiscences and articles by local historians: Roy Mason, Doris Edge, and James Melville.

We're planning a website feature on the excellent mining model that you can already see in St Peter's Church. The project funding covers work to refurbish and enhance the church display with the addition of photographs, interpretation panels, and other local historical artefacts.
